PREFERRED® Railing Kits:
PREFERRED® railing is offered in 5 different colors in a textured finish. We offer 4 foot, 6 foot, and 8 foot length rails for level or stair installation. We offer kits in the same sizes and colors. Our rail sections are installed in a “post to post” fashion (see Post Kits). The Georgian Series Rail, has a top rail of 2 3/4 inches wide and the bottom rail is 1 1/2 inches wide. The Savannah Series Rail, the top and bottom rails are both 1 1/2 inches wide.
The Kits include, the top and bottom rails (level rail kits will have the baluster connectors already attached), a bottom rail support (only for 6′ and 8′ kits), Balusters (the number will depend on the length of the kit), 2 top brackets and 2 bottom brackets, the necessary screws, a template, and a set of instructions. Posts are NOT included.

When buying PREFERRED® Railing separately, please understand the following:
Drilled Railing means there are holes drilled for the installation of balusters, so you may want to buy balusters and baluster connectors.
UN-Drilled Railing means there are NO holes drilled in the railing. So if you are going to use balusters, you may need to drill your own holes.
Stair Railing will ALWAYS have the “square slots” for the balusters to be used. The slots allow for the balusters to pivot in the rail for different angles of pitch.
